Hey hey hey! - August 8, 2008

Hey! Hope everyone is having a great summer. London Street has been having a good time. We kicked off the summer with a trip to Maui to play the first annual Ocean of Healing festival in Paia. We jammed, we tanned, we swam, we ate, we chilled, and we basically had a fabulous time. Speaking of eating, if you are ever in Paia, eat at Island Cuisine. The food is the best and Kit (the owner) is super cool!..I really miss that place.

If you are going to be in San Francisco this weekend, come to Dolores Park on Sat. Aug. 9th. London Street will be setting up and playing around 1:00p.m. Bring some food, drinks, a blanket or a chair, and chill with us!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the 6th St. Fair last weekend. The spirit of that community is amazing. It was a wonderful show!

Lastly, London Street is really excited to be playing the Slow Food Rocks Festival in San Francisco on Aug. 31st. Thoughts on Love in 2002 - October 6, 2007

Love is a moving location that changes its direction, departure, and arrival time at will. Love is neither here nor there. Love is a tear drop from a heart that is joyful. Love is a firey ball of energy that chooses its victims by the shades of glowing amber that shine from the moon. Love is me and you...
Love is my mother's voice when she's smiling. Love is my dad's sorrowful grimace when I'm in the wrong. Love is a wish from a yearning heart that wants to save the world. Love is a turned heart that used to rebel.
To all those who I have loved before...maybe once, but no more, maybe twice, and thoughts did stay, but sometimes I'd like to be free from those old ways.
A new leaf to turn, love with promise of free and somehow forever, and somehow with me, and somehow with sun shining under our skin. The sweet nectar, secret of eternal lovers that lights the way even until our hair has turned gray.
I'd like to re-establish my desire for love and have it stay yearning in my heart with no fear and no trembling....well maybe some trembling. Cuz after all, isn't it the trembling that makes the ahhh so good, and it's the same trembling that can change the mood.
Love is a one-stop mobile, all or nothing, get it while you can, purposed for your heart only, throw caution to the wind, wave of undying emotion, daily devotion, unconditional-heart potion, screaming and kicking through hoops I've jumped through before, and I still want more, Why?
Love is in me, love is around me, love is me with you. The "you" in my writings used to refer to a paticular someone but no more, and now doors are closed, and now I'm waiting for other doors to appear, so that I might open them at will someday. Now the "you" has become this certain someone, an uncertain noone, a wishful thought, an optimistic hope for future ravishings.
How do I love thee? The ways are numerous and dangerously unyielding.

Thank God for Time and Change
